Second Kinder visit - our stories

Thursday 14th August grade 4/5 made our second visit to Hawkesdale Preschool. This time our challenge was to write something that we could read and entertain a kinder person with. We has stories, an icy pole recipe, alphabet poems, and some non-fiction things especially about animals. Grace’s story called Block Your Nose proved very popular. Can you imagine lots of different reasons why you should block your nose ? After sharing our writing and the books we made we played, made, and painted with our young chums.

Sleep is what we did the most- generally between 70 - 80 hours which is nearly half a week and about 3 days asleep !

We found we spend 25 hours a week in class which was the second most thing we do.

Comparing everyones individual graphs and data, the most common activity that came next in terms of spending the most time was for 7 of us watching TV/DVD and another 7 playing computer games. For 4 it was playing and for 3 it was travel. Sport and hobbies had 1 each.

For what we did the least of was Reading for 10 of us, Chores/Work was for 8 of us, washing, hobbies, internet, and other were the rest.

We all had to present our data on a colored in 168 hour graph and then onto an exel spreadsheet with a computer made pie graph. Next we had to wr
