As part of our reading program, and for Education week , grade 4/5 visited the Hawkesdale Preschool and each student had to read a picture book to a kinder child. We outnumbered the kinder kids 4 to 1 , so the kinder kids heard up to 8 books each! We were meant to be there for 30 minutes but stayed for nearly 100 minutes. The older students played and socialised with their new younger friends. They had so much fun.
